Vision

At Elm Road Primary School we offer a broad and balanced curriculum that keeps the requirements of the National Curriculum as the starting point for what we do. 

Our aim is to offer a curriculum that develops the children's knowledge, skills and understanding of the world and equips them with what they need to lead fulfilling lives. 

In addition to the statutory curriculum, we aim to strengthen the personal development of the children at Elm Road. We achieve this by ensuring our children have the opportunities to take part in educational visits, offer them the chance of joining a school residential when they are in Years 5 and 6. We also invite visitors in to school to broaden the children's experience. Throughout the children's time at Elm Road, they will be able to participate in a range of extra curricular activities including sports and music clubs.
